Where can I park?
Street parking. There are a few public parking places near by. Closest is Howard Hospital.

What is the Cancellation & No Show policy?
To ensure that our stylists and artists can accommodate all of our clients, we have a couple of policies in place. Collection and No Shows.
We require that all cancellations be made 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. This allows us to fill the appointment slot with another client who may be waiting for an opening. To cancel or reschedule simply call the front desk (and leave a message if we are busy) or go online and cancel your appointment. To cancel via online simply open your appointment confirmation or appointment reminder email and follow the links provided. For those people who simple do do not show up for their appointment will be charged 100% of your booked services. This policy is in place to compensate our stylists and artists for their time and effort in preparing for your appointment and not being able to refill your reserved spot in one of their chars.

Cancellations made after the 24 hour notice you will be charged 100% of the scheduled appointment cost.

No Shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled appointment cost.

Rescheduling your appointment

It’s free to rescheduled! so if something pops up in your life and you can no longer keep your appointment, let’s reschedule. We ask that all reschedules be made 12 hours before the scheduled appointment. This allows us to fill the appointment slot with another client who may be waiting for an opening. Thank you.

Im not sure what to book as a service. What do I do?
You can request a consultation with your desired stylist from our Team page or visit our Services page to learn more about each option. Consultations can be done virtually or in person based on stylist recommendations.

What are the benefits of pre-booking appointments?
Pre-booking your next appointment while checking out ensures that you get the date and time slot that works best for you, especially since our stylists and artists tend to get booked up quickly. By pre-booking, you'll avoid the disappointment of having to wait longer for your next appointment. Additionally, our stylists and artists take vacations too, so pre-booking can help you secure your preferred stylist or artist during their availability.

What is a waitlist?
If you don't see your preferred stylist's availability on the schedule, you can join their waitlist through our booking app. Joining the waitlist allows you to indicate your interest in booking an appointment with that particular stylist, and they will be notified of your request.

If the stylist is able to accommodate your request, they will reach out to you to schedule your appointment. Please note that waitlist requests do not guarantee an appointment, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs and preferences.

Why am I charged a color fee?
The color fee covers the cost of the products used to achieve your desired hair color. This includes the cost of the hair dye and any other products used to achieve your final hair color goal. The fee varies depending on the amount and type of product used during your appointment. We strive to use high-quality products to ensure that you achieve the best possible results.

I just want a trim. Why is it not cheaper?
A trim involves maintaining the current shape of your hair, while a cut involves creating a new look by changing the shape of your hair. However, both services require the same level of skill, expertise, and time from our stylists, which is why the price for both a trim and a cut is the same.

We strive to provide high-quality hair care services to all of our clients, and we believe that the price for our services is fair and reflective of the value we provide. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you.

What happens if I am late for my appointment?
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, clients who arrive more than 15 minutes after their scheduled start time may be asked to reschedule their appointment. This is to ensure that our stylists and artists stay on schedule and provide excellent service to all our clients.

If we are running behind schedule, we will do our best to contact you and keep you informed of any delays. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our salon running smoothly. Thank you for your understanding!

I might be sick. Can I cancel my appointment?
Yes, if you are feeling sick, even if it's just a little bit, we ask that you please stay home to ensure the safety and health of our staff and other clients. Please call us to reschedule your appointment for a later date. We appreciate your consideration and understanding in helping us maintain a healthy environment for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!

Can I leave a tip?
Yes, tipping is allowed and greatly appreciated by our stylists and artists. You can leave a tip via the Venmo app, with cash, or by adding it to your credit card payment for the service provided by your stylist. Your stylist will receive the tip directly and will be grateful for your generosity. Thank you for considering tipping your stylist or artist!

My hair didnt exactly come out right. Can I get a refund?
We want our clients to be happy with their hair and strive to provide excellent service. If your hair didn't come out the way you had hoped, we offer complimentary adjustments within 48 hours of your last appointment. We do not offer refunds, but we want to work with you to make sure you are satisfied with your hair.

Please give us a call or send us an email explaining what adjustments you would like, and we will take care of you from there. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible hair care experience, and we appreciate your feedback to help us achieve that. Thank you for choosing our salon!

What do the different stylist levels mean?
We have a tiered system of stylist levels, with each level based on the stylist's experience, skill level, and demand for their services. Our stylist levels range from New Talent to Levels 1-4. Here's what each level means:

New Talent: These are recent cosmetology school graduates who are supervised by Level 3 & 4 Stylists. They are proficient in all techniques.

Level 1: These are stylists who have completed our advanced training program and have at least one year of experience. They are skilled in basic techniques and have a growing client base.

Level 2: These are experienced stylists who have completed our advanced training program and have at least three years of experience. They have a strong client base and are skilled in advanced techniques.

Level 3: These are highly experienced stylists who have completed our advanced training program and have at least five years of experience. They have a large and loyal client base and are skilled in all techniques.

Level 4: These are our most experienced and highly demanded stylists. They have completed our advanced training program and have at least seven years of experience. They have a significant and loyal client base and are skilled in all techniques.

Please note that our stylist levels may change periodically based on their experience and demand for their services. Thank you for considering our team of skilled stylists!

Can I purchase product in salon without an appointment?
Yes, you are welcome to purchase any of the Redken, Miziani, L’Oreal, Authentic Beauty Concepts & Pureology products used during your service at any time during the salon's regular business hours. Our stylists will be happy to recommend products based on your hair type and needs.

We encourage you to shop local and support small businesses. Our prices for products are comparable to online prices, and your purchase supports our salon and our team of skilled stylists and artists.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we offer gift certificates that make the perfect gift for any occasion, including birthdays, anniversaries, or just a way to show someone you care.
